~Performance Series~

The dw Performance Series is meticulously handcrafted in the custom shop at the Oxnard, California factory. This American-made series maintains custom drum-level quality while offering excellent value for money through a fixed shell configuration.
Featuring the proprietary "HVX shell" technology, it boasts a wide range and a powerful, solid sound, making it suitable for a wide range of genres, from rock to pop.

Crafted from 100% North American hard rock maple, and featuring DW's unique shell construction and drum hardware, these drums offer high reliability and sound quality.

-North American Maple Shell-
All shells in the Performance Series utilize dw's proprietary patented technology, 'HVX,' which uses 100% maple plywood with wood grain arranged in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal patterns to achieve a low, powerful fundamental tone.

-HVX Shell-
This drum features a completely new shell technology developed jointly by John Good and the dw Custom Shell Shop in California. Combining the latest wood grain orientation technology with carefully selected North American hard rock maple, the unique HVX shell delivers a punchy low-end, rich resonance, and excellent sound projection, making it ideal for live performances.
