Meyer and Otto Link, established as the standard for jazz mouthpieces, are moving to a new stage!
As you may recall, JJ Babbitt made headlines at this year's NAMM show by announcing a collaboration with Theo Wanne to create mouthpieces, and now, finally, the "Hybrid Series" is available! This series aims for consistent quality by combining JJ Babbitt's traditional manufacturing and finishing techniques with Theo Wanne's process control, precision manufacturing, and measurement standards.
This time, we'll be comparing Meyer's alto saxophone models and Otto Link's tenor saxophone models, with demonstration performances by saxophonist Junsuke Motomatsu. We'll thoroughly examine the differences in sound and playing feel of each instrument. Be sure to check it out in the live stream!
