From the Japan Tune-up series, known for its reliable setup in Japan, comes the first ever PJ-style model!

In addition to the classic specifications of an alder body and rosewood fingerboard, the combination of powerful P-type and J-type pickups positioned slightly closer to the bridge creates a sound variation never before seen in the Japan Tune-up series. Furthermore, the adoption of a roasted maple neck and a lineup of understated color schemes that step away from the standard models offer players a new option.

• Pickups: Front pickup: Equipped with the series' first P-type pickup. The P-type pickup mounted in the front position is a split-coil design that is resistant to noise and features a sound that emphasizes the mid-to-low frequencies. It has a higher output than a single-coil and can produce a wide range of sounds when mixed with the rear pickup.

Rear pickup: 70s position
The J-type rear pickup is positioned slightly closer to the bridge, reminiscent of vintage basses from the 70s. This results in a tighter sound and a tone that cuts through well when used in a band ensemble.

- Roasted maple neck with increased rigidity
This model also features the roasted maple neck, a popular new standard from Bacchus. The heat treatment not only gives the neck high rigidity and resistance to warping, but also contributes to a crisp, dry sound with excellent attack.

- A slim body that inherits the WOODLINE design.
This model, a derivative of the WOODLINE series, inherits its shape while adopting a slightly sharper body design compared to the authentic model. This not only provides a comfortable fit when held, but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the PJ style.

• Specially crafted brass neck plate: Features an original neck plate made of high-density brass. Compared to conventional models, it is heavier and features a dense, expansive sound extending to the mid-low frequencies.

- Turbo switch, a standard feature of the WOODLINE series
This model also features the familiar "Turbo Switch" found in WOODLINE models. Pulling up the tone knob activates the Turbo Switch. It connects the two single-coil pickups in series, creating a thick, humbucking-like sound. (Note: When the Turbo Switch is on, the volume is adjusted using the front volume knob. The rear volume knob is bypassed in this mode.)
