Carefully selected consigned items (items sold on your behalf)

Since its release in 1960, the Jazz Bass has been a flagship model for Fender, alongside the Precision Bass, and continues to influence the music scene. Numerous variations and reissue models have been produced by the original manufacturer, as well as inspired models by it from other companies, solidifying its position as a standard model for electric basses.

This is a beautiful guitar from around 1975, featuring a 3-bolt joint, Olympic White paint with a black pickguard, and a maple fretboard.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 4.9 kg. The body is made of ash. This guitar features a lovely combination of Olympic White, which was already a regular color at this time, and a black pickguard, which was introduced around this time. There is some paint discoloration to cream due to age, some rubber discoloration, fine black streaks mainly on the sides and back, light paint peeling from a belt buckle, scratches, and tarnishing of the metal parts, giving it the feel of a vintage instrument. The bridge saddle has been replaced with an old-style spiral type. Metal covers are included.

【neck】
The neck and fingerboard are made of one-piece maple. It features a 3-bolt neck joint and a micro-tilt neck (adjustable neck joint angle). Weather checking is visible mainly on the headstock, paint peeling due to age on the back of the neck, and tarnishing on the metal parts, giving it a vintage instrument feel, similar to the body. The tuners are a little stiff to wind, but they function properly. The frets and nut have been replaced once, and the playability is good. The fingerboard surface was also repainted when the frets were replaced. The headstock thickness is 14.0mm, and the nut width is 38.8mm. It features a sturdy neck shape despite the narrow width characteristic of an A-neck.

[Electrical System]
The controls are the standard Jazz Bass wiring [2 volume/1 tone]. The pickups are the original gray bobbins from that era, and the internal control components are also in excellent condition as they were at the time.

This guitar features a thick, clear sound with a strong core, combining the rich low end characteristic of ash bodies from this era with the crisp attack of a one-piece maple neck. The front pickup position delivers a thick, sustained low-mid range, while the rear pickup position provides tight, edgy highs, making it less likely to get lost in an ensemble. It's a great choice for genres like funk and disco, where rhythmic definition and attack are crucial.
