Descripción
The Musicmaster Bass is part of the lineage of student models produced by Fender. While inheriting the design philosophy of the higher-end Precision Bass, it was introduced in 1970 as a single-pickup model with a more compact body and a 30-inch scale. Its streamlined design allows it to shine with a distinctive Fender sound and presence. It transcends the boundaries of an entry-level model and continues to be loved as a unique instrument.

This particular guitar was shipped around 1974. The blue color has aged beautifully, resulting in a lovely appearance.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 3.3 kg. The vibrant blue color, also used on Mustangs and other models, has aged and changed to a greenish hue, giving it the charm of a vintage instrument. While there is some weather checking, minor dents, slight rubber discoloration, and tarnishing on the parts, the paint still has a good sheen and it remains in relatively good condition.

The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood. There are some light weather checking and minor dents, and some tarnishing on the metal parts, but it remains in beautiful condition, just like the body. The tuners function well with little variation in winding tension. The frets and nut have been replaced and leveled using a PLEK machine at our shop, resulting in excellent playability. The headstock thickness is 16.8mm. The nut width is 40.9mm. It features a relatively solid neck shape.

[Electrical System]
The controls are a simple [1 volume/1 tone] configuration. The control system parts, including the pickups, have been kept in their original condition.

With its well-balanced, tight low end and the straightforward midrange characteristic of this model, it boasts a compact yet impactful tone. Unlike the thick, powerful projection of a Precision Bass, it offers a light and responsive feel, providing a pleasantly rounded sound when fingerpicked and a crisp attack when played with a pick. Its simple circuit configuration allows you to enjoy the instrument's inherent character straight and true.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
