Chords are an unavoidable part of playing the guitar.
However, there are probably many guitarists who struggle with problems like "just memorizing the form and pressing the strings as instructed" or "finding theory books too difficult to understand."
"Why are those sounds used?" "Why does that chord come next?" — This special feature will answer those "whys" and equip you with lifelong knowledge!

The special feature begins with two exclusive interviews with Paul Gilbert and Yas Nomura.
Professionals at the forefront of the scene will teach you how to approach chords (Paul's presentation is linked to a YouTube video).
In the main lecture content, instructor Toshiro Miyawaki will explain various topics such as "What are chords?", "Types and origins", "Scales and chords", and "Chord progressions", providing examples, explanations of their mechanisms, and approaches to performance. Synchronized videos that allow viewers to hear the harmonies will also be released.
The score includes famous songs with distinctive chords, such as MR.BIG's "Green-Tinted Sixties Mind" and TOTO's "Georgy Porgy."

Other features include interviews with Kai Hansen, Simon McBride of Deep Purple, and Abel Camargo & Vélez of Hibria (Hiblia's "Tiger Punch" score is also included), an analysis of SYU's latest playing technique (with video), and a feature on Li-sa-X and the return of the YG Pedal Production Committee (with video) about building a fixed wah pedal.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
