The EHB series, created in 2020 as the ultimate ergonomic headless bass, is a modern bass series designed for today's bassists whose desired sounds, playing genres, and the music scene itself are becoming increasingly diverse.
The EHB1005F is a fretless model that uses Richlite wood for the fingerboard, a material that is environmentally friendly, possesses acoustic properties suitable for musical instruments, and also boasts excellent design.
Since the release of the EHB series, the most requested feature from bassists has been a fretless bass, and we are now offering it with a completely new approach: a blue fingerboard.

• Blue Canyon colored Richlite fretboard (fretless) with luminous side position inlays Richlite is a suitable material for fretboards due to its reliable moisture resistance, strength, and consistent material properties. Compared to other hard fretboard woods, its slightly easier responsiveness and milder tone are highly compatible with the tone image desired for fretless basses. In addition, it is a sustainable material, and the highly aesthetically pleasing colored (i.e., blue) material is an essential element for the EHB1005F to be positioned as an ultra-modern fretless bass.

The ergonomically designed EHB body design horn balances the body and neck when playing standing up, and is shaped for easy handling. The body curve on the treble string side is designed with particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated. The area where the elbow rests on the body surface is contoured with a slight bevel. In addition, all body edges that come into contact with the body are finished with a smooth radius.
The back of the body is boldly cut to become thinner towards the bass strings. This is designed to improve the fit when playing while seated, and also takes into account the viewing angle of the fretboard inlays. In addition, the back of the horn on the treble string side is cut in a scoop shape to facilitate access to the higher frets.

- Chambered hollow body construction allows you to feel the body's resonance more intuitively. By directly experiencing the vibrations within the body, the player will be able to recognize the sound they are producing more clearly.
Furthermore, it also contributes to a slight reduction in weight.

The Bartolini(R) BH2 pickup features a sound character characterized by a well-balanced, warm response along with a tight bottom end and rich midrange.

・Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ w/EQ bypass switch
As the abbreviation "Variable frequency control for Mid EQ" suggests, this is an EQ with flexible control over the mid-range frequencies (powered by a 006P battery).
Typically, a 3-band EQ divides the frequency range into three bands, such as HIGH/MID/LOW, allowing the developer to control boosting or cutting based on a frequency range they arbitrarily specify. However, with Vari-Mid, the user can arbitrarily adjust the focus of the Mid band.
The Mid peak has a variable range from around 100Hz to around 6000Hz, with a boost/cut range of approximately 15dB for each frequency. For example, by setting the Mid to 100Hz, which is roughly in the bass range, and boosting that frequency, you can compensate for a lack of bass.
