-Ikebe Original Order Model-
A special, one-of-a-kind instrument customized for fingerstyle players, with materials carefully selected by craftsmen at the Yairi workshop!

K.YAIRI is a Japanese brand that has upheld its craftsmanship spirit since the 1970s, with the motto "Made in Japan, from our workshop in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture," and a small, elite team of about 30 people dedicated to handcrafted production.
We offer a wide range of products, from custom models to more affordable options, but our commitment to using only Japanese-made products has made us popular not only in Japan but also around the world, giving us fans all over the globe.

This "BLC CTM" is a special, one-of-a-kind custom model that our staff designed from scratch to create a guitar that we can recommend to fingerstyle players. They even traveled to the Yairi workshop in Gifu to select the materials and then produced it.
The body features the "BL" shape, which offers deep bass and a wide dynamic range while remaining comfortable to hold. A cutaway has been added to improve playability in the higher positions.
For the top, we've selected the finest, tightly grained "redwood," and for the sides and back, we've chosen "Macassar ebony" with its beautiful, wild sapwood grain. From our extensive wood stock, we've carefully selected each piece with excellent tap tone and looks, working together with the skilled craftsmen at the Yairi workshop.

Both pieces of material happened to be in stock when I visited the Yairi workshop. I hadn't originally planned to make this guitar, but I thought, "Since there's such great material here, I can't pass up the opportunity to order it..." so I hastily placed an additional order.

The top redwood is a material known in Japan as "sequoia." Because it is resistant to rot and fire, it was harvested in large quantities, causing its numbers to plummet. Currently, its supply is regulated, making it one of the most expensive softwoods.
It is an ideal wood for the top of fingerstyle guitars in particular, possessing a playability and responsiveness similar to cedar, while also having a powerful, torquey feel.

The Macassar ebony used for the sides and back is extremely hard and dense, and its beautiful appearance makes it a popular material for boutique guitars. It is characterized by a very wide range, clear tone, rich dynamic range and volume, and complex harmonics.

Both materials are excellent, selected for their combination of a smooth tone and beautiful wood grain.
Deep, solid, and weighty bass, a midrange with a sticky and dense feel, and clear, sparkling treble...
The dynamic range perfectly captures the delicate nuances of fingerstyle playing. The dignified tone, which balances brilliance and depth, offers a comfortable playing experience that you'll want to continue forever.

Unusually for Yairi, the nut width is a slightly wider 44mm, and it features a thin, U-shaped neck profile, allowing for smooth playing even in fingerstyle, by making full use of the fingerboard width. Furthermore, the wider fingerboard also contributes to a clearer, more distinct sound with better separation between each string.
For the tuning pegs, we've chosen the popular "GOTOH 510," known for its high precision and modern look. In terms of decoration, we've paid meticulous attention to every detail, including figured koa binding, a rosette combining wood and abalone, and an original-shaped headstock.

Both the sound and the looks are so superb that you might mistake it for the work of an independent manufacturer.
The price is incredibly reasonable considering the level of perfection and luxurious specifications...
This is a one-of-a-kind, special custom model, so don't miss this opportunity to get yours!!
