Furch, one of Europe's leading brands, is beloved primarily by fingerstyle guitarists. Its meticulous craftsmanship, beautiful finish, refined sound, and smooth playability make it a truly exceptional guitar, with plenty of reasons why it's used by so many musicians.
This "Yellow Deluxe Gc-SR" is based on the "Yellow Gc-SR," a representative model from Furch Guitars' core Yellow series (formerly the 23 series), and features deluxe specifications incorporating popular options from the custom-order Rainbow series.
The most distinctive feature is the bevel duo, which is a contour applied to two areas: the elbow and the chest. Thanks to this contour, it provides a comfortable grip even during long playing sessions, and also gives the instrument a three-dimensional and beautiful appearance.
The detailed specifications, such as the use of liner side position markers, black cell binding, and white contrast lines on the fingerboard and veneer, differ from the regular Yellow series, resulting in a more chic and sophisticated impression.
The top is made of AAA grade Sitka spruce, and the sides and back are made of AA grade Indian rosewood.
The combination of the auditorium body, which boasts excellent volume balance and deep bass, and the clear, fast-responding spruce top, results in a highly versatile sound that is appealing to a wide range of genres.
The separation of each note is excellent, making it ideal for players who want to bring out the bassline or melody.
Although the nut width is a relatively wide 45mm, the exceptional playability achieved by the thin neck shape has garnered support from many players.
Furthermore, although it's a very subtle difference in specifications, the bridge pins also use ebony pins, which are used in the Rainbow series, resulting in a woodier and warmer tone compared to the regular Yellow series. It's nice to see such attention to detail in even the smallest things.

It features a double contour and some minor specification changes, but we believe it's offered at a very reasonable price!

◆CNR System Active (Composite Neck Reinforcement System)◆
This model is equipped with Furch's proprietary "CNR System Active (Composite Neck Reinforcement System)".
This is an innovative neck design that updates the existing CNR neck system. Its most notable feature is the ability to adjust the neck angle using a string height adjustment bolt located on the neck block, allowing for string height adjustments without having to file down the saddle.
Furthermore, the improved neck rigidity and stability compared to the previous system allow for longer-term playability and stability.
