A 1964 Jazz Bass NOS (New Old Stock) from a custom shop, made in 2012!

With its meticulous attention to wood and thorough quality control, the Fender Custom Shop can undoubtedly be called the "ultimate Fender" that can be produced in the modern era. And now, we have received a 1964-spec Jazz Bass, crafted at the Fender Custom Shop, featuring vintage specifications combined with refined features!

The wood materials include an alder body, a carefully selected maple neck, and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. The U-shaped neck grip provides a comfortable thickness, resulting in a solid, firm texture and a resilient tone. The power and resonance when picking are clearly conveyed, allowing you to fully experience the instrument's resonance. Its core tone will support the bottom end of an ensemble while making a strong presence.

This Jazz Bass features custom shop vintage-type pickups, resulting in a thick yet tight tone. Both the front and rear pickups deliver a wonderfully warm tone on their own, with a well-balanced, crisp midrange and high frequencies. The output from the speaker has a resilient, supple quality, and even a depth of tone that suggests it's been played for a long time, providing a truly classic Jazz Bass sound. The bridge has been replaced with a BADASS, resulting in a more direct attack. The strap pins have been replaced with Dunlop locking pins, making it ready for stage use.

Due to the lacquer finish, there may be minor scratches, dents, and paint chips, but it is perfectly playable.
The truss rod is a bit stiff when tightened, but there is usually plenty of room for adjustment.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
