Introducing the latest signature model from UNISON SQUARE GARDEN's Tomoya Tabuchi!

A new world of rock/pop where clear, yet distinctively sharp vocals coexist with an edgy band ensemble that offers a superb combination. A new version of the signature bass guitar by Tomoya Tabuchi, bassist of the three-piece rock band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, known for their catchy melodies and captivating live performances that weave together the unbalanced personalities of the three members, has been released.
This model, born from the Classic Style J4 Custom -Tabuchi Model- and Tabuchi MK-II, combines the specs of the previous two models with a traditional wood construction.

The vibrant yet elegant finish with a sheer grain pattern, popular for its stage presence, has been replaced by the new Transparent Akane color, Transparent Kohaku, which combines individuality with a sense of calm. This guitar has a subdued atmosphere yet an overwhelming presence. Of course, the headtop is still painted in black and natural.

The body thickness and stainless steel frets are inherited from the Classic Style J4 Tabuchi Custom, and like the Mark-II, it uses alder (non-thermo). The fingerboard is rosewood, and the pickups have been changed to Sago's original L(x) Tabuchi Custom single-coil pickups. It's fitted with an oiled bone nut and a D'Addario regular gauge of 45-105. The neck is based on Ove's design, with a 38mm nut width (normally 39mm), and a carbon support built into the neck for added rigidity.
The black pickguard, which looks completely different from the original model, has luminous paint applied to the "S logo" area, creating a cool design that glows faintly in the dark!

The control section is also different from the typical 2Vol, 1Tone, as Tabuchi himself states that "there are times when I want to adjust the mix sound + tone," so it has a 1Vol, 1Tone specification. At first glance, it looks like a typical JB, but it is a new signature model that pursues Tabuchi's ideals in every detail, and is a condensed version of his attention to detail!
