The popular model SLB200 was the basis for the current SLB300!
This model's unique hollow body design leaves some resonance, while the original pickups provide a natural playing feel and sound similar to that of a wood bass. The electric instrument features two tone controls, treble and bass, allowing you to fine-tune the sound to suit your ensemble and venue. The body retains the shape of a wood bass, and the parts the player comes into direct contact with, such as the tuning pegs, fingerboard, neck, bridge, strings, and tailpiece, are constructed and made of the same materials as a wood bass, creating a natural feel and feel similar to an acoustic instrument. The body of the wood bass is also replicated in the frame, allowing you to hold the instrument in a way that's suitable for pizzicato playing.
The overall size has been reduced, and the body frame (side panel unit) is removable and foldable. Compactness has been pursued from the tuning pegs to the tailpiece and endpin attachment. When stored in the dedicated soft case, the volume is about 25% of that of a regular double bass, and it can even fit in the trunk of a sedan, making it more portable and allowing you to play whenever and wherever you want.
There are small dents scattered on the body and sides of the fingerboard, and there are dents on the fingerboard from pressing the strings, but it can be used without any problems when playing.
