[Sales on behalf of customers (consignment items)]

This 60s Jazz Bass has been custom-finished to Jason's specifications. This unique design is part of the charm of a custom shop.

Master builder Jason Smith, whose father was Dan Smith, who contributed to Fender's revival in the '80s, joined the Custom Shop at a young age in 1995, studied under the late Senior Master Builder John English for five years, and was promoted to Master Builder in 2006. Since then, his track record of working on instruments for renowned artists such as Michael Landau, Flea, Josh Klinghoffer, Geddy Lee, Steve Harris, and more, speaks for itself, making him a truly elite Fender builder.

This instrument is a special instrument that is slightly different from vintage specs, with the classic alder/rosewood finish of the 1960s, anodized pickguard, 1970s-style amp knobs, a Badass bridge, and Josefina hand-wound pickups, making it a special guitar that is unique to modern Fender.

The condition of the guitar shows clear signs of age, such as sticker marks on the back of the headstock, small linear scratches on the back of the neck, dents from rest marks in the paint near the rear pickup, and paint damage in various areas, but there is no noticeable damage to the playability. The truss rod is slightly tightened but still has a reasonable amount of backbend. After arriving at our shop, the frets were leveled with PLEK and the guitar was set up in our shop. There are no issues with choking or other functional issues with the electrical system. There is a slight scratchiness in the neck pickup volume, but turning it silently does not produce any noise.

This is a rare instrument with unique specifications that is recommended for those looking for an instrument that is different from others!
Don't miss it!
