A limited edition of the small GS mini
Since its founding in 1974, Taylor guitars have been made using carefully selected wood materials and parts, the latest technology, and the hands of skilled craftsmen. They have earned high praise and support from top musicians, and Taylor now boasts one of the largest market shares in the United States.
The popular "GS Mini" series, a downsized version of Taylor's original "Grand Symphony" shape, offers a comfortable, snug fit and just the right amount of string tension, making it a hugely popular series used by top musicians around the world. A limited edition color model has been released in this popular series.
The original GS Mini-e features a torified spruce top, laminated sapele back and sides, and a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard. Torified processing removes impurities, enhancing resonance. While torified processing is sometimes used on limited edition or more expensive Taylor models, it is not typically used on the GS Mini series, improving not only the appearance but also the sound from the regular model.
Although these mini guitars are roughly three-quarters the size of a standard guitar, the GS Mini series offers a rich, full-sized sound that rivals that of a full-size guitar. The body is crafted from sapele, a wood similar to mahogany, for a warm sound, while the harmonic richness of torified spruce is enhanced by the GS Mini's distinctive clean tone. The pickups are Taylor's original ES-B, allowing for a wide range of sound creation.
A body size that falls between the regular size and the smallest Baby Taylor!
Despite its cute looks, the sound is professional. It's highly recommended for its outstanding sound despite its size!
