We've got a used DTX100T in stock! It's an electronic drum pad that combines realistic feel with exceptional quietness!

-DTX100T-
This 12-inch DTX snare pad offers a satisfying feel, excellent playability, and exceptional quietness. It features a newly developed textured cellular silicone head, significantly improving feel and quietness. Two tones can be assigned to the rim in addition to the head.
The feel of the snare pad and tom pad has been adjusted to allow for a more connected playing experience, resulting in a softer feel than snare pads such as the XP120SD and XP100SD.
It can be attached to a long rod tom clamp such as CL940B.

~The idea behind TCS head's ''foamed silicone''~
The TCS head, the core of the DTX-PAD, contains countless tiny air bubbles. By adjusting the size and quantity of these bubbles, we have achieved a number of "attention to detail."

- Perfectly reproduces stick movement and rebound
The DTX-PAD delivers a feel that's close to that of an acoustic drum. The sticks don't bounce too much after hitting the pad, but rather create just the right amount of rebound. The internal air bubbles are controlled, making the snare pad slightly firmer and the tom pads softer, recreating the natural feel of fills.

"The playability of an electronic drum pad is determined by the hardness and rebound of the striking surface." This is one conclusion Yamaha reached after many years of research. The moderate rebound and not-too-soft touch will constantly stimulate your desire to play.

・Overwhelming quietness
The air bubbles inside the TCS head contribute not only to playability but also to quietness. They act like a cushion when you hit the ball, reducing the sound of the impact. With the exception of the XP70, using the TCS head in conjunction with the floating system further improves quietness.

- Reduces strain on wrists and elbows
The bubbles in the TCS head not only absorb the impact sound, but also the shock, allowing you to play comfortably without straining your wrists or elbows, even when playing hard.

・TCS head (textured cellular silicone head)
The surface has a moderate roughness that replicates a coated head, preventing the stick from sliding sideways during headshots. This roughness, combined with the special silicone material, is the secret to a playing feel similar to that of an acoustic drum.

・Rim switch
All DTX-PADs except the XP70 have a three-zone structure.
It supports not only headshots but also open and closed rim shots, and you can even assign the sound of another instrument to the rim.
