Descripción

The Big Muff Pi has undergone many minor changes and variations, but this is the third version. This design is also used in current models, and many people think of this look first when they think of the Big Muff.

Like the second version, commonly known as the Ram's Head, this version also comes in a number of rare colors. This is a subtle yet rare version, with the lines above and below the "BIG MUFF Π" logo in black instead of the usual red. The control knobs are hockey puck-style. The casing shows signs of rust and wear, creating the feel of a vintage instrument.

The circuit board is the mint green of the EH3003, with discrete circuit specifications. The slide switch on the back turns the power on and off, and is labeled "OFF/ON." The transistors used are BC239. A nice feature of this specification is that it can be used with a DC jack. The effect ON/OFF switch has been replaced. It features stable low mids and a strong, well-balanced distortion that could be called distortion. You can enjoy the deep distortion that is unique to this older model.

Replacement parts: Housing set screws, effect ON-OFF switch Accessories: None
