A Japanese flagship model where tradition and modernity coexist.

The Ibanez ARTSTAR series inherits the know-how of jazz guitar making cultivated with numerous musicians such as George Benson, John Scofield, and Pat Metheny, and was created to write a new chapter in Ibanez jazz guitars. It features a lineup of flagship models that represent the pinnacle of all Ibanez hollow guitar series.

In 2021, with the theme of "Develop a new thing by learning from the past" (re-examining the hollow guitar as it has been made so far and creating something new), we will be renewing all models in our top-of-the-line Prestige series, combining an old-school look with modern specifications.

- The flagship of Ibanez's hollow-body lineup, the ARTSTAR series - Original AS body with a thin body with a maximum body thickness of 67mm - African mahogany and S-TECH WOOD ARTSTAR series original grip shape based on an easy-to-grip U shape, slightly thinner in the Ibanez style, a reinterpretation of the good old look that is once again in the spotlight, featuring an 80's headstock logo design, F-hole shape, and brass truss rod cover, an ebony fingerboard that is hard, has excellent sound attack and an elegant appearance, a laminated body with figured anigre (commercial name: satin sycamore) throughout, multi-binding that is hand-decorated by craftsmen from the headstock, fingerboard, body to pickguard, Super 58 pickups that have been the original Ibanez pickups that have been highly regarded by professionals since the late 1970s, a Tri-sound switch that expands the sound variations of the neck pickup, Gotoh 510 machine heads that provide high precision and easy turning, Gotoh 510BN bridge & GE101A The Sure Grip III knobs offer both ease of tailpiece control and high visibility. The bone nut, a staple for hollow guitars, provides a natural tone with minimal coloration.
