Descripción
The AZ Series 2020 model features a covered bridge pickup and a black pickguard.

By making the bridge pickup covered, we aimed for a sound with less power than existing models.
This model is designed for players who prefer a slightly sweeter sound than that of open-type Hyperion pickups.

Seymour Duncan Hyperion Pickups
We obtained dozens of different pickups and measured the frequency characteristics of all of them.
From among those options, we determined the optimal pickup specifications and sound image for the AZ, and created this AZ-exclusive pickup in collaboration with Seymour Duncan, a pickup brand with a long history and a commitment to continuing innovative endeavors.
This custom pickup is designed to retain some of the original clean tone even when distorted, with a slightly reduced output and a focus on picking responsiveness and accuracy. It prioritizes overall balance, from treble to bass, and even the resonance of each string from 1st to 6th, while also pursuing excellent effect compatibility. All magnets are Alnico 5.

dyna-MIX with Alter switch
With a single flick of the mini-switch, you can freely switch between humbucker and single-coil modes, ensuring a wide variety of sound options.
This switching system is ideal for modern guitar players who need to perform multiple roles with limited equipment.

Alter switch
SSH model… The neck and center single-coil pickups are wired in series to simulate the sound of a 22-fret neck humbucker.
HH model…Switches to Power Tap mode, which delivers a realistic single-coil sound. One coil is tapped, and the other coil's low frequencies are enhanced with special wiring, resulting in a clear high-frequency range and a thick, well-defined sound that cannot be achieved with simple tapping.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
