~~~~~The following is the product description for a new item. ~~~~~
Backed by 40 years of guitar-building experience and designed to inspire, the Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR M offers modern features and a versatile sound that will appeal to any guitarist. Embodying a relentless quest for fast playing and a love of the iconic So-Cal style, this guitar combines classic playability with innovative design elements to become one of Charvel's signature models.
The Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR M features a beautifully carved alder body and a robust bolt-on maple neck with built-in graphite reinforcement rods to minimize environmental impact. A heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick truss rod adjustments. The speed neck profile is designed for fast playing, and the 12-16" radius maple fingerboard with 22 frets provides comfortable playability in every position, from low-position riffs to high-position leads.
Designed for sophisticated players seeking unparalleled performance and sound, this model features a high-output Seymour Duncan Distortion TB-6 humbucker in the bridge position and a Seymour Duncan Distortion SH-6N humbucker in the neck, delivering a rich, full-bodied tone. The volume control features a push-pull coil-split function for expanded tonal versatility. The No-Load tone control operates like a standard tone control in positions 1-9, while position 10 bypasses the circuit, maximizing the guitar's natural tone. The Floyd Rose Series Double-Locking Tremolo maintains tune even with extreme arm movements.
