FAQ

Description

The graphite neck Stingray, the legendary Cutlass-I, is now in stock!
The neck is straight and the playability is excellent.

The StingRay "Cutlass-I" features a Modulus graphite neck and is a rare model that was only produced for a short period between 1983 and 1984. Even among the few remaining, there are some interesting examples, including a mix of three-point fastening with back threading and four-point fastening with front threading.

This instrument, manufactured in 1983, has a see-through red body that appears to be poplar and a bridge with four fastenings and a through-the-top design.

The neck and fingerboard are in good condition with no visible scratches, and the body has some paint chipping near the end and other small scratches and dents, but there is no major damage and it generally looks like it is in mint condition.

The battery snap, endpin, and some screws have been replaced, but other major parts and paint appear to be original. The fingerboard has been previously repaired and refretted, and although it has a rodless carbon neck, it is straight and in excellent condition. The string height can be set low (down to about 1.5mm on the G string at the 12th fret), and the guitar is in excellent playing condition.

The original pots are all in working order and there is no sign of any scratches.

Our shop has recently become a gathering place for old music lovers, with a Cutlass-I, a Sabre with a good neck, a fretless vintage Stingray, and more. (All of these have been sold, though.)

A rare cutlass is here! Don't miss it!
