The Pino Palladino P-Bass is highly regarded as a purely excellent P-Bass!
This is the signature model of Pino Palladino, the world's leading bass master, who is now perfectly suited to any type of music, from Paul Young, D'Angelo, and John Mayer to fusion trios with Jeff Beck, Philip Seth and Simon Phillips, to supporting The Who.
Developed based on the specs of the artist's favorite PB, this instrument features a lightweight alder body finished in Desert Sand and Fiesta Red, a sturdy, thick quartersawn maple neck, a rounded rosewood fingerboard, and original pickups developed specifically for this model. The strings are also set up with the artist's favorite Thomastik JF344 flatwound strings, making this a thoroughly detailed instrument. Unlike a copy model that simply reproduces the specifications of the artist's instrument, this model's true appeal lies in the fact that it also reproduces the rich resonance and sound of the instrument.
The alder body, which is the key to the sound, is made of carefully selected lightweight material, and the rich tone that only high-quality alder can produce is a wonderful match with Thomastik's flat strings.The original ``Pino'' pickups, which have just the right amount of power and attack while still retaining a strong vintage feel, are also a perfect match for these specifications, and it is no exaggeration to say that this bass is packed with all the attractive sound and tone elements that everyone looks for in a P-bass.

The strap pin has now been replaced with a Dunlop one, but the original pin is still included.
