Description

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 'STRATOCASTER' in 2024, this limited edition model was created based on the '54 Stratocaster, the year of its birth!
We have received a stunning relic guitar that exudes presence, and we are selling it on your behalf.

The body is crafted from ash wood, specially selected by our wood selection specialists for our custom shop, and is characterized by its bright midrange. The neck, also carefully selected, is made from one-piece quarter-sawn maple, with a 9.5R fingerboard radius and tall, narrow frets. The neck grip features a 70th Anniversary Soft V shape, based on measurements taken from a guitar produced in July 1954.

The body and neck finish is an all-lacquer finish, just like vintage models. The relic finish features irregular weather checking and paint chipping in places. The hardware includes a synchronized tremolo with PAT.PEND. stamped saddles and vintage-style Kluson tuners. This model also features a Closet Classic finish with a slight oxidation treatment.

The pickups, which reproduce the superb natural resonance unique to custom shops, are all hand-wound. Compared to regular machine-wound pickups, they produce a richer harmonic content and an acoustic feel when output from the amplifier. This model uses the Fat 50s pickup, which has a clean sound that is both crisp and full. Often found on models with maple fretboards, it features a clear and punchy sound with a crisp yet full tone characteristic of the 1950s, giving it the potential to handle a wide range of genres.

While the relic finish makes it difficult to judge the condition of this particular instrument, it is in excellent overall condition with minimal signs of use. The frets have plenty of height remaining, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electronics, so you can enjoy this guitar for many years to come. A superb instrument that will satisfy both in looks and sound, please consider this opportunity!
