Description
Description
The MC1-STD/R, an ST-style guitar from momose, a brand renowned for its high level of craftsmanship, is a momose-style adaptation of the traditional ST style, featuring a slightly larger treble horn, a recessed neck set plate, a large truss rod adjustment hole, and binding made from the same material as the fretboard. The installed YUTA VS-1 pickup produces a clean tone with excellent clarity. With its modern sound and functional specifications, this is an all-around guitar that is easy to use in any genre, so please give it a try!
【momose MC Model】
Inheriting the fundamental structure of vintage ST guitars pursued by Momose, this guitar boasts a traditional sound and tone. Furthermore, it pushes the boundaries of customization, emphasizing modern playability, and, based on Momose's core philosophy of "processing according to the individual differences in mass, elasticity, and resonance of each material," it pursues the possibilities of vintage style through completely handcrafted production. The overall quality has been elevated to a unique original style, and it is now finally complete.
Designed with smooth shifts to higher positions and improved playability in mind, the body shape features a slightly wider cutaway. It also boasts a striking headstock shape while maintaining a classic aesthetic.
The adjustment mechanism retains the design that allows for instant setting, but its shape has been revised to enable even more stress-free adjustment. The neck shape, finished with a semi-matte, ultra-thin top lacquer and meticulous sanding, creates a smooth playing feel, and its grip feel has been further refined with attention to detail.
The JESCAR FW9662-NS retains the 210R fingerboard radius that eliminates fret buzz in the high positions or when bending strings, and the medium-sized, slightly higher JESCAR FW9662-NS frets (equivalent to Jim Dunlop USA #6105 frets) that make fingering easier with accurate pitch. However, by applying wood binding made of the same material as the fingerboard to the sides of the fingerboard to cover the fret tangs, an even smoother neck grip is achieved, preventing "burr" problems that can occur when using the guitar in harsh conditions.
In the neck joint, while retaining the traditional method of using a joint plate, a recessed design and a unique heel cut have been adopted to further pursue playability. Furthermore, the joint plate used is made of a high-density material that pursues sound quality.
Furthermore, attention to quality is evident throughout, with features such as tuners equipped with GOTOH's Magnum Lock mechanism for high-precision pitch maintenance and a custom-made bridge with a 10.8 mm string spacing. The assembly is also made up of only the highest quality USA parts, and shielding with conductive paint is meticulously applied to reduce noise. It also comes standard with the YUTA VS-1 pickup, which has received great acclaim from many players for faithfully bringing out the natural tone of the wood.
