handytraxx play is a portable record player that retains the essence of the original while introducing a host of exciting new features.
Equipped with cutting-edge digital effects, an audio looper, and creative and unique features that go beyond the boundaries of a regular record player, this portable record player lets you "play" records, rather than just playing them as physical media.

■Faders optimized for scratching Although it is portable, it is equipped with faders optimized for scratching. Reverse mode, which swaps the crossfader channels, also supports reverse scratching.

■ 3 types of filters
Featuring three filters, each designed to give you dynamic control over your sound. The DJ filter seamlessly blends low-pass and high-pass for custom flavor and evolution. The EQ & Isolator enhances the low end for deep, impactful tones. And the peaking wah filter with modulation adds a unique, expressive touch, allowing you to shape bold, experimental sounds or subtle, nuanced effects in real time.

In addition to the delay filter, handytraxx play also has a built-in delay effect that expands creative possibilities. From creating a spacious atmosphere to a metallic, intense sound, you can intuitively control it by moving the vertical fader up and down. You can add delay to scratch sounds, or use it in conjunction with the looper to create a delay break before cutting into the mix.

■Equipped with an audio looper. A single unit allows for a wide range of musical expression. The looper features a variable speed switch that loops recorded phrases. The variable speed switch allows you to intuitively adjust the looper's playback speed with the same speed change rate as switching from 33 to 45 RPM or from 45 to 33 RPM. You can also layer additional sounds on top of the looped recording. For example, you can use the variable speed switch to play a beat loop at your preferred speed, and then record a scratch sound on top of it.

Designed for ultimate portability, handytraxx play can be used anywhere, anytime. It can be powered by the included AC adapter or six AA batteries, so you can take your music with you wherever you go. It's equipped with a maximum 2.5W speaker, so even though it's completely portable, you can still enjoy your records with powerful bass and sound pressure using just the built-in speaker, without having to connect an external speaker.

■Flexible customization: The newly developed headshell is compatible with both ceramic and MM cartridges. (*) You can also swap out the scratch fader and change the orientation of the control panel for either the right or left fader, allowing for flexible adaptation to any style of playing.
(*) Basic soldering skills are required to replace the ceramic cartridge with an MM cartridge.
