This gorgeous 2016 J-45 Custom Rosewood guitar is available for pre-owned purchase!
This model is based on the J-45 Standard of the time, and features floral inlays on the headstock and fingerboard, neck binding, and herringbone, giving it the rugged look you expect from a J-45, while also giving it a gorgeous and elegant look.
Unlike the regular J-45, it uses rosewood for the sides and back.
This not only gives the round shoulder a crisp, powerful sound, but also a rich, glossy, sweet, and mellow tone. It has the earthy feel of a Gibson, a beautiful bell-like resonance, and a wider frequency range than mahogany, making it a great choice for ballads where you want to listen to a more mellow sound.
As for the condition, the guitar was played quite a lot by the previous owner, and there are scratches and dents all over, as well as tarnished hardware, paint wear, and noticeable sun damage due to age, but the original gorgeous look also gives it a nice, atmospheric appearance. There are some dents in the frets, but there is currently no clogging or buzzing, and it does not interfere with playability.
The bridge pins have been replaced with brass ones, which have aged quite a bit and give it a nice atmosphere.
Equipped with an under-saddle pickup (LRBaags Element VTC) and additional strap pins added by the previous owner, this guitar is ready for immediate use in live performances.
It's gorgeous and atmospheric, and is perfect for those who want to play it on stage and don't want to have the same J-45 as other people!
