The newly equipped input gain adjustment dial allows you to adjust the gain to suit the different input levels for each device and the type of guitar or bass pickup, such as active, humbucker, single coil, or piezo, making it easy to find the point where noise and feedback are minimized.

AmpliTube offers a vast library of carefully modeled vintage stomp effects and amps. You can use this virtual modeling gear on stage alongside your existing stomp effects and amps. Of course, you can also use it for practice by connecting headphones to the 1/8-inch headphone jack.

iRig 2 also features a new FX/THRU switch, allowing you to switch between the AmpliTube effect sound and the bypass sound. For example, you can use your mobile device as a tuner or recorder, while processing the effects with a physically connected stomp effect or amplifier.

It also features a removable slot that allows you to attach it to an iRig 2 mic stand using the included Velcro, making it easy to use on stage. Combine it with the iKlip Xpand or iKlip Xpand Mini, which are compatible with a wide range of smartphones and tablets, and you're invincible.
