[A used snare drum, specially made to commemorate Akira Jimbo's 35th anniversary as a professional musician, has arrived. It's in pristine, unused condition!]

"To commemorate my 35th anniversary as a professional drummer, I created my new snare drum, The Metal. By wrapping a string around a thin metal shell of an orthodox size, I achieved a sound that combines the calmness of a vintage feel with the brilliance of a metal shell, a sound that is both nostalgic and new."

1. Resonance Control Binding: A string is attached to the constricted (recessed) area in the center of the shell. By tightening or loosening the string, the resonance and harmonics of the shell can be controlled.
When the string is tightened, it produces a tight, focused sound; when loosened, it produces an open sound. This creates a unique effect in both appearance and sound.

2. 1.0mm Thick Steel Shell: A thin 1mm thick steel shell is used. By making the shell thinner, unwanted sound components are cut out, resulting in a more open, warm, and crisp sound.

3. Equipped with a Q-type strainer: The Live Custom and Absolute Hybrid Maple models feature the same Q-type strainer. This provides stable on/off switching and smooth adjustments during performance.

4. 14-inch diameter / 5-inch depth
The 5-inch deep body and one-piece lug design produce a quick response.

5. Original Emblem: An original design emblem has been fitted.
