FAQ

Description
The Ceriatone Centura is a true overdrive pedal that further expands the possibilities of tone and amplifier. It pairs especially well with tube amplifiers set to that delicate balance where distortion is just barely noticeable.
The Centura delivers top-tier tones across the board, from clean boost to full gain settings. Feel free to adjust all the knobs to find your own unique sound. There's no wrong setting.

●Controls - GAIN: Adjusts the amount of distortion. The minimum setting provides a clean tone.
• TREBLE: Adjusts the tone, primarily in the high frequencies. The setting around 11:30 will result in a flat response.
OUTPUT: Adjusts the volume. At around 11:30, the circuit will be at unity gain, but the actual volume will vary depending on the GAIN and TREBLE settings.

● Differences from Classic Units
The Ceriatone Centura produces a tone that is almost identical to the classic unit, and can be made to the same level by setting the Output slightly higher than the classic unit. This difference is due to the pot taper. As you approach the full up position, the difference becomes smaller.

Feel free to adjust the knob settings and experiment to find the perfect sound. The possibilities are endless when it comes to combining different guitars and amplifiers to create different kinds of music. Therefore, there are also infinitely many perfect settings.

●Power supply
The Centura is powered by a 3.5mm mini-plug DC 9V adapter. The tip of the plug is positive.

●Battery
The Centura can also be powered by a standard 9V battery. To use a battery, open the screws on the bottom with a flathead screwdriver and insert the battery into the battery snap inside.
If you notice a difference in tone with your usual settings, please replace the batteries with new ones. Also, remove the batteries before storing the device if you won't be using it for an extended period.

Condition: No problems with use. Parts requiring approval: None. Accessories: None. Warranty: No warranty. Sold as is.
