FAQ

Description
~ Martin Road Series ~

The "000-12E Retro" perfectly balances Martin's signature traditional look with modern playability and practicality.

The 000-size body is easier to hold than a dreadnought, and its comfortable fit against the body is a major appeal. Despite its not-too-large body, it boasts a rich tone thanks to its solid spruce top and solid sapele sides and back.

The top is made of solid spruce, characterized by a bright, clear sound with a good balance that makes it easy to play in a wide range of styles. The sides and back are made of solid sapele, which produces a cohesive mid-low range and a clear resonance.

Furthermore, it employs scalloped X-bracing. By carving out the internal bracing to allow the body top to vibrate more easily, the design brings out improved tonal response and a richer resonance.

The neck features a Performing Artist profile, combined with a High Performance Taper for a comfortable grip and smooth fingering. The 24.9-inch scale length feels slightly softer than Martin's long-scale models, making chord work and fingering more comfortable.

The electronics are equipped with a Martin E1. Because it has a built-in tuner, tuning is easy even on stage.

This guitar boasts a classic Martin look, a user-friendly body size, and modern features. It's a model we highly recommend to a wide range of people, from those who want to seriously enjoy playing acoustic guitar to those looking for a Martin they can play every day.
