From the legendary fingerstyle guitar S-101III comes the model that was exhibited at Sound Messe in Osaka 2026!!

Maurice, a Japanese manufacturer with a long history, has a wide range of fans, from legendary musicians to amateurs.
Despite their meticulous craftsmanship, they boast incredible cost performance and offer a wide lineup that covers everything from folk style to fingerstyle.

This instrument, "S-LTD ARASHIYAMA," is a rare, limited-edition model produced as an exhibit for Sound Messe in Osaka 2026.
What's most noteworthy, however, is the beautiful inlay work on the headstock and rosette, which uses washi paper from Kyoto.

Kyoto-made washi paper, "Yuzen paper"

The "Yuzen paper" used in this series is a decorative Japanese paper adorned with a gorgeous and delicate design reminiscent of the Yuzen dyeing technique used in kimonos.
The name originates from Miyazaki Yuzensai, a painter who created the Yuzen dyeing technique in the mid-Edo period, and the aesthetic sense that captivated people at that time continues to live on today, transcending the ages.
Just like Yuzen dyeing, which has been loved by many people, this Yuzen paper was also created to be a familiar and widely used part of everyday life.
The manufacturing process utilizes techniques from Yuzen dyeing, but by using pigments instead of dyes, the vibrant colors are preserved for a long time, and their beauty does not diminish over time.
A screen is placed on top of washi paper, and the artisans layer the colors one by one, changing the stencil for each color as if in perfect harmony. This meticulous handiwork allows you to enjoy a unique expression in each piece. It possesses a depth that can never be replicated by machines.

The top is made of beautiful white Engelmann spruce, and the sides and back are made of Indian rosewood.
Designed specifically for fingerstyle playing, this instrument delivers a clear separation between bass and melody lines while producing a pleasing, sparkling harmonic tone. It offers a responsive picking dynamic with ample volume, resulting in a vibrant and beautiful sound.

This pen embodies a "Japanese" aesthetic, blending traditional Japanese craftsmanship with the expertise of domestic manufacturers.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
