FAQ

Description

We have received a popular model from Ibanez, the world-famous Japanese guitar brand.

The "AR" series, which was derived from the four-digit Artist Series that was sold overseas in the early 1970s and had its model name changed and made a triumphant return to Japan around 1979, gained high praise both domestically and internationally for its delicate yet powerful sound, beautiful looks, and reliable quality.

【body】
The overall weight is approximately 4.7 kg. The body features a burl mahogany top and mahogany back, a design exclusive to models ending in "5." The color is "Antique Violin," a rich Ibanez color. While there are scratches and dents throughout, cracks and partial collapse due to binding deterioration typical of this period, and damage such as tarnish and rust on metal parts, the glossy finish remains intact.

【neck】
The neck is made of three-piece maple with an ebony fingerboard. Beautiful inlay work is also a hallmark of Ibanez. The tuners are listed as VELVE TUNE II in the catalog, but are actually VELVE TUNE with metal buttons. They function well with minimal winding variation. The nut was replaced at our shop, and the frets were also filed and adjusted, resulting in excellent playability. The nut width is approximately 43.5mm. The slim profile with reduced thickness is typical of Ibanez.

[Electrical equipment]
The controls are two volume controls, two tone controls, a three-way pickup selector switch, and two Tri-Sound switches. The pickups are the original Super 58s. The Tri-Sound control allows you to switch between series, coil tap, and parallel pickups, while the natural tone of the Super 58s adds to the sound versatility.
