★Sound panels that enhance the sound

The "SHIZUKA Stillness Panel SDM" is an acoustic panel developed with the help of recording/mastering engineers and musicians with extensive experience in professional music production, maximizing its sound insulation and absorption properties.

While offering the same sound absorption performance as the "SHIZUKA Stillness Panel," it can be folded in half for storage in limited spaces. The panel itself is lightweight and self-supporting without the need for screws or modifications, making it suitable for use in a variety of locations. With a sound absorption rate of over 90% in the frequency range above 500Hz, it reduces unwanted reflections and reverberations at the site, allowing for the easy construction of a simple booth.

■Features and Performance ◎Wide-range sound absorption (100-10kHz) due to a three-layer structure with different specific gravities
The basic structure incorporates three different materials with varying specific gravities. The 0.01mm mesh section, which has low reflection, efficiently converts sound into thermal energy as sound enters it. While the single material alone can only handle a limited range of frequencies, a sound-absorbing layer of a different material behind it allows for broader sound absorption.

The internal sound-absorbing material has even finer air layers than conventional materials, preventing sound from escaping. A simple anechoic chamber can be created by connecting the panels, but the back panel also acts as a reflector, allowing you to implement your own sound absorption and reflection measures to create your ideal acoustic space.
