George Benson Signature Model

George Benson is a world-class musician and performer who has always fulfilled both roles: an expert improviser and an energetic entertainer. The "GB10SE" is a model that takes the Ibanez GB10, his most well-known signature model, and retains the same body size and specifications (*) of the pickups, tailpiece, and other parts, while offering it at a reasonable price.
The compact, easy-to-hold spruce top/maple sides and back body of this full-hollow guitar delivers a moderately loud, crisp sound and a straightforward tone. Furthermore, the floating mini-humbucker provides an omnidirectional, expansive sound that reveals a glimpse of the versatility that characterizes his music, which has expanded beyond jazz to include R&B and soul.

◆GB Special Pickups
It features GB-Special mini humbucker pickups that are set in a floating configuration, meaning they do not touch the body top.

◆Ebony Fretboard
It features ebony wood, which is known for its quick attack and rich sustain.

◆Artstar Fret Edge Treatment Medium frets with Artstar Fret Edge Treatment
The fret edges have been rounded to ensure smooth fingering.

◆Half-Bone/Half Brass Nut
It features a half-bone and half-brass nut, combining bone, a classic material for a natural sound, with brass, which adds clarity to the tone.

◆GB10 tailpiece
It features a GB10 tailpiece that provides a gorgeous and iconic look, along with excellent tuning stability.

◆Sure Grip Knobs
It features a SureGrip knob that combines ease of control with high visibility. The knob has numbering (markings) and a rubber grip on top to prevent slipping.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

■ Stock

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

  • North America & Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
