Description
Description
The completely handmade "MAD CAT" has been produced several times with the head shape and logo changing, and several models with slightly different specifications have been produced over the years.
The high quality of "Made in Japan" products is highly regarded by enthusiasts overseas, and the existence of F heads and Bill heads gives a sense of history.
It is well known that Prince was amazed when he used the Hohner brand as his favorite instrument in music videos and live performances.
"MAD CAT" is a must-have for enthusiasts, as it was played spectacularly by great artists at live shows!
Completely limited production!
Below is a quote from the caption of the limited edition Mad Cat reissue commemorating Moridaira Musical Instruments' 45th anniversary.
The MAD CAT is an extremely popular model among HS Anderson guitars, and is still talked about today as a "masterpiece." Several were exported under the "HOHNER" brand at the request of HOHNER USA, and one of these guitars found its way to Prince, who used it as his main guitar in the film "Purple Rain," bringing it worldwide recognition. A limited number of these guitars were temporarily reissued in 2009, but they sold out before they were even fully displayed in music stores. In 2011, to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Moridaira Musical Instruments, the original manufacturer, the MAD CAT was reissued in limited production, and continues to this day!
