Description

JE-Line Standard

The JE-Line is a model series produced exclusively for the Japanese market by Suhr Guitars, which began in the fall of 2021. In 2022, the Suhr S Model, featuring the traditional wood materials ash and alder, was added to the JE-Line as a limited edition model.

Suhr Guitars has earned a reputation as a high-end brand, earning the trust of top professionals not only for electric guitars but also for amplifiers, replacement pickups, etc. The JE-Line was jointly designed by Suhr Guitars and its authorized distributor, Okada International, with feedback from Japanese players and dealers to create something even more valuable.

This masterpiece features a small "Standard" body shape and classic alder construction, offering a solid and sturdy design that contrasts with the gorgeousness of models with maple tops. The neck is made of maple for superior rigidity, offering the same quality as the Custom Line and a glimpse of Suhr Guitars' commitment to quality.

The neck shape is an "Even C Slim" shape, with a slightly thinner C-round that's versatile for any playing style, providing a comfortable grip for technical playing and an excellent feel that won't feel out of place even if you're switching from another brand or model. Combined with a 10-14 compound radius, it achieves the "comfortable feel" found in some top models. The frets are "stainless steel/jumbo," and their carefully designed tight playing feel, combined with impressive sound projection, ensure a truly captivating sound.

The pickup is a V60/Asatobucker, a popular setup often used in the Suhr Guitars custom lineup. The Asatobucker features an SSV-style winding coil that produces a soft attack and smooth, warm sound, combined with the same Alnico IV magnet as the bright, wide-range Thornbucker, creating a pickup that fully expresses Mateus Asato's musical vision. The V60, with its wide, brilliant sound range typical of vintage single coils, creates an excellent sound balance.
In addition to a 5-way pickup selector, the tone pots allow for coil tapping of the front and rear pickups. The bridge is a Japanese-made Gotoh "G510 2-Post" bridge, which provides a wide, natural tone while minimizing tuning drift caused by friction when using the arm.

The body color is "Dakota Red," which is characterized by its vivid red color, and it has an eye-catching and attractive look.

*The rear pickup has been replaced with a cover, and the pickguard, back panel, and control knobs have been replaced. Original parts are not included.

*As for the condition, the frets are stainless steel, so there are no dents or other damage and more than 80% of them remain, and we have confirmed that there is also sufficient room for the truss rod.
The electrical system is also in good condition, and the guitar shows relatively little signs of use, with only a few shallow scratches and some tarnish on the pickup cover.

*Please refer to the photos for any particularly noticeable scratches.
