Sakurako Ohara (page 8)
Sakurako Ohara, a modern-day Cinderella, was selected from 5,000 candidates in a nationwide audition for the role of heroine in the film "My Little Lie," making her simultaneous screen and CD debut. Her life-sized story of how the acoustic guitar she started playing for a film role became her constant companion is truly fascinating. While she continues to receive rave reviews as an actress, her 2015 debut album "HAPPY" remains a best-seller, having sold over 100,000 copies and earned a gold disc. At the end of 2015, she performed at the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen. With her long-awaited second album "V (Viva)" due for release on June 29th of this year, we spoke to her about her views on music and her passion for the acoustic guitar.

MARTIN & FISHMAN
~ Report on a visit to a factory on the East Coast of the United States: Two giants who have grown together (page 15) Digimart Magazine
Martin Guitars and Fishman, a leading manufacturer of acoustic instrument pickups, have been in business since 1985. These two manufacturers have grown together in the field of acoustic guitar amplification, and it's no exaggeration to say they support the modern music scene. First, we visited Fishman's Boston, Massachusetts, factory, founded in 1981, to speak with CEO Larry Fishman about the company's history, production system, and relationship with Martin. We then headed to the Martin factory in Nazareth, Philadelphia, to hear about Martin's relationship with Fishman and how Martin has adopted the Fishman Aura system, which has become the core of the company's current electric acoustic guitars. We also feature Craftsman, the custom shop that Martin is particularly focused on today! We interviewed the select artisans on-site to learn how they create custom models. This article is presented in collaboration with our company, Digimart.
■SPECIAL PROGRAM
"Paco de Lucia: The Burning Guitarist"
Feat. Okijin x Saigenji (5 pages)
The film "Paco de Lucía: The Burning Guitarist," due for release on July 23rd, is a documentary film that captures the life and evolution of flamenco music of the legendary flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía, who passed away suddenly in 2014 at the age of 66. Directed by Paco's eldest son, Curro Sánchez, the film features rare footage and interviews of Paco in his younger years, as well as comments from John McLaughlin and Carlos Santana. Through this film, we take a fresh look at Paco's achievements, which could be said to represent the history of flamenco guitar itself. Jin Oki, winner of the International Flamenco Guitar Competition, and Saigenji, who has always revered Paco as the No. 1 guitarist, discuss the music and guitar that Paco left behind.
