Designed and manufactured by Swedish designer Ola Strandberg, Strandberg Guitars are next-generation guitars incorporating innovative ideas such as multi-hybrid scales/fanned frets, headless construction with original hardware, and ultra-lightweight multi-string construction that prioritizes ergonomics and balance. They are already supported by a new generation of guitarists such as Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders) and Misha Mansoor (Periphery), as well as legends like Allan Holdsworth.

This is an 8-string version of the Indonesian-made "Boden Standard" series, which is already immensely popular overseas. By revising the specifications of the existing Boden Original, it achieves incredible cost performance! Instead of the swamp ash hollow body used in the regular Boden series, it uses solid basswood, resulting in a wide range that allows for diverse sound shaping. The maple neck is roasted, providing high durability and a more direct sound. It is equipped with Jescar stainless steel frets. The characteristics of stainless steel frets, which provide a quick attack and clear sound, are aided by the string tension unique to multi-scale guitars where the scale shortens from the low strings to the high strings, resulting in a comfortable low end and solid intonation even when using slap techniques such as thumbing. Of course, it uses the EndurNeck. shape neck grip, which is unique in shape but offers excellent playability, so you won't feel any difficulty playing even with 8 strings, and the position markers on the side of the fretboard are luminous dots, which improves visibility on stage and provides even more comfortable playability.

The guitar is equipped with Strandberg's original humbucker pickups. These pickups are designed to complement the Boden guitar's structure, allowing for both high-gain humbucker sounds and sparkling clean single-coil sounds. They are the perfect match for the Boden and produce a versatile sound that can be used across a wide range of genres.

Of course, the pickup selector uses a 5-way blade switch, allowing for a wide range of sounds, including single-coil mix of both pickups and front-to-back parallel configuration.

*Regarding the condition, as it has stainless steel frets, there is no noticeable wear in any area, and the truss rod has plenty of adjustment range left.
The electrical system is in good working order, but there is a dent about 7mm in diameter near the end of the body, some minor dents on the side of the body, and some fine, shallow scratches.
