Description
Description
Powering your pedals with batteries not only improves tone but also reduces noise. Connecting your pedals to batteries using the Kingtone Battery Box eliminates the need for intermediary components. There's no need to unplug your pedals to conserve power. The batteries automatically connect and disconnect when you power your pedal board on and off. Red and white LEDs clearly indicate the battery's charge status and remaining charge. Battery changes are simple: remove the old battery and insert the new one in just three seconds. No need to open or close any screws or lids. The Battery Box is fully isolated, allowing you to freely combine positive-ground and negative-ground pedals. Furthermore, the Kingtone Battery Box's compact design can accommodate up to four 9-volt batteries.
In automatic mode, the battery box draws power from your pedalboard and detects whether it's in use. This automatically connects and disconnects the battery, preventing you from forgetting to unplug it and running out of juice. "ON" mode keeps the battery on, allowing you to use your pedalboard without a separate power source. "OFF" mode turns off all battery output.
Designed for discerning musicians, the Battery Box connects directly to the battery with near-zero resistance, unlike many pedals, with no components inserted in the battery path. This direct connection is crucial for fuzzes, treble boosters, and wahs, where the battery itself shapes the tone.
All outputs are fully isolated, so you can run positive and negative ground pedals side by side without any noise or interference. Power management is simple: a single "master battery" slot allows the unit to operate in ultra-low power standalone mode, or it can be completely bypassed in auto mode by supplying an external DC power supply.
The result is a Battery Box that's discreet, quiet, reliable, and faithfully reproduces the sound of your chosen pedal and battery—without all the compromises that traditional battery boxes make.
