The popular '66 model features binding and dots with paddle pegs!
These custom-made vintage-style instruments are hand-assembled by craftsmen using the highest quality materials, and feature a sturdy neck resonance that cannot be experienced with regular models.They are equipped with original pickups that have just the right amount of power to reproduce the mellow nuances unique to vintage guitars while also being easy to use in a band, and from the choice of materials and parts to the texture of the paint, they are finished into realistic and practical vintage models that only the original Fender can achieve.
This guitar reproduces the enthusiastic transitional specifications of 1966, with an alder body, rosewood fingerboard, dot positions and binding, and Fender's original paddle pegs, but the face dots are made of mother-of-pearl, giving it the charm you'd expect from a custom shop.
This particular guitar is finished with the "Journeyman" relic finish, which creates a moderate sense of use and aging, such as the tarnish on the parts and the texture of the paint. The thinness of the paint allows the texture of the alder wood to be felt, and the sound is more refined than NOS models. It doesn't just reproduce the specs and appearance, but also beautifully reproduces the deep tone and sound unique to vintage specs. Although it's difficult to see in the photo, there are cracks all over the body.
There are scratches and dents scattered throughout the piece, but these are all thought to be due to the original relic processing.
There is ample room for the truss rod and the neck is in good condition.
