Description
This is the signature model of legendary guitarist Larry Carlton, nicknamed "Mr. 335" after his favorite guitar. It's modeled after a guitar he owned around 1969 that doesn't have an i-dot.
This time, we have a 2002 version in stock, and as you can see from the serial number, it was never released on the market. It is unknown whether the "Mr. 335" logo truss rod cover or certification was included.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.9 kg. The body is made of the familiar semi-hollow maple. It features a beautiful iced tea burst color scheme, just like the vintage guitar played by the artist. It also features a stop tailpiece and Nashville-style Tune-O-Matic. While there is some wear from picking and some tarnish on the metal parts, the guitar is in fairly good condition. The strap pin has been replaced with a Dunlop-style locking pin.
【neck】
The neck is made of mahogany. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. There was a chip at the base of the headstock that has since been repaired. The brand logo without an i-dot, the black nut, and the Schaller M6 tuners are distinctive features of this model. The neck is in fairly good condition with only minor signs of wear. The tuners function well with no irregularities in winding. There is not much wear on the frets or nut, and playability is good. The nut width is a narrow 40.0mm. The neck shape is relatively solid.
[Electrical system]
The controls are standard: a 3-way pickup selector, 2 volumes, and 2 tones. The pickups are two '57 Classics. While the guitar offers a lustrous, sweet tone, it also boasts a wide range of versatile sounds, depending on your picking and control.
