Description

We have a used 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue in stock, featuring a top hand-selected at the Nashville Custom Shop Factory.
This guitar was sold new in our shop in 2025. There are signs of minor wear, such as aniline cherry bleeding on the cell binding, three small paint chips on the back of the headstock, and shallow scratches on the back of the neck and body. However, there is no wear on the frets, and the neck and playing feel are in the same condition as when it was new. All accessories are included, just as they were when it was sold new.
Enjoy the sophisticated combination of the rich, swaying figured style typical of Select Top and the VOS finish that shows slight signs of use!

The 1959 Les Paul Standard Model shines brightly in the history of electric guitars. Its commanding sound and beautiful body lines captivate countless musicians, making it an iconic guitar coveted by all modern rock guitarists.
After its release in 1951 and its goldtop period, the Les Paul Standard adopted the sunburst finish in 1958 and was produced in that form for a short period until 1960. Among these, the 1959 model, a representative year and one of the most popular, continues to reign as a coveted and sought-after masterpiece. This 1959 model has been rebuilt with the latest Gibson Custom Shop technology.

This is the latest arrival of a model with the same specifications as the 2019 60th Anniversary model, which was released in 2015 as the ultimate reissue model and largely follows the True Historic specifications.
For the 60th Anniversary model, the color of the "Les Paul MODEL" silkscreen on the headstock—the very face of the guitar—has been revised, and the Gibson logo design has been refined to be closer to the original. The inlays, including the fingerboard position markers, are made of naturally dark cellulose material rather than colored, further enhancing the guitar's appearance.

The basic specs are the latest Historic Spec, with unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups, an updated assembly, and True Historic parts. The sharp response that follows your picking strokes will have you magically captivated by the Les Paul tone the moment you plug the guitar into your amp!
Not only does it have a great sound projection when the tone is turned down, but the controllable assembly also maintains a moderate brightness even when the volume is turned down, making it a great match for modern use!

Get your hands on this amazing '59 model from the ever-evolving Gibson Custom Shop!
