The RC-5 brings endless possibilities to your pedalboard with its evolved sound quality and expandability. It delivers high-quality sound with 32-bit processing, and the backlit LCD provides enhanced operability and visibility, clearly displaying the looper's status. External footswitches and TRS MIDI input/output offer even more flexible control. With over 50 built-in rhythms, up to 13 hours of stereo recording, and 99 phrase memories, the RC-5 packs a punch in a compact package that lets you maximize your creativity.
High-quality sound
32-bit AD/DA conversion and 32-bit float internal processing deliver best-in-class sound. Maintaining clarity and fidelity to the original, even when recording multiple times. And with up to 13 hours of stereo recording time, you can capture every last detail of your performance.
Excellent visibility and simple operation
The RC-5 is a compact looper pedal with an advanced interface. The LCD backlight indicates recording, playback, overdub, and stop status, allowing you to check the status at a glance. The multi-function parameter knob also allows quick and easy adjustment of rhythm, kit, and system settings.
The evolved pedal switch supports a variety of operations, including record, playback, overdub, stop, undo, and redo, all on its own. By adding an external footswitch, you can control up to two additional functions. Connecting an expression pedal also supports continuous parameter control. Furthermore, the space-saving TRS MIDI input and output allows for connection to external MIDI-compatible devices, enabling a variety of scenarios, such as tempo synchronization with drum machines.
A wide variety of rhythms and grooves
The RC-5 lets you freely combine 57 preset rhythms and seven drum kits to create a wide variety of rhythm sounds, and the built-in reverse function lets you add unique twists to your loop performances.
From production to practice and performance
The RC-5 features 99 phrase memories, allowing you to instantly save your ideas. Phrase memories also store selected rhythms and drum kit settings, allowing you to instantly recall your favorite setups without having to reconfigure them every time you perform. Saved loop phrases can be backed up via USB, and can also be imported from a PC using the BOSS TONE STUDIO PC editor. In addition to real-time loop performance, the RC-5 is also useful for a wide range of applications, including practice, background music playback at live performances, and jam sessions.
