Description
Description
This 2024 1961 Jazz Bass, with the regal presence that can only be called a Fender Custom Shop instrument, is now in stock!
The body is made of ash, the neck is made of straight-grained maple, and the fingerboard is made of slab-laminated rosewood, a characteristic of this era. The straight-grained neck is characterized by vertically running grain, making it not only sturdy and resistant to warping, but also attractive for its calm beauty with parallel grain.
The neck is not too thick, making it easy to grip, and has a solid, rigid feel. The fingerboard is made of a slab of carefully selected rosewood, which increases its volume. Combined with the characteristic firm sound of ash, this produces a tone that is both resilient and resonates beautifully all the way up to the high frequencies.
The aging process, which is carried out using skilled craftsmanship from the body to the back of the neck, is designed to evoke the harsh conditions of decades of stage and tour life, and not only does it have a smoother look but also a smoother sound, making it blend in well with any ensemble.
The pre-aged finish means you can use it without worrying about scratches. It also comes with a pickup fence, bridge cover, and finger rest.
There is ample room in the truss rod and the neck is in good condition.
