Our beloved red demon, the SG! This Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1963 SG Special Reissue VOS guitar features two P-90 pickups, a rare combination of sharpness and power. This pre-owned guitar, manufactured in 2023, is a must-have in its classic Cherry color. Don't miss out!

We have a used Gibson Custom Shop SG Special in stock, featuring outstanding resonance and the straight sound of a P-90!
This model reproduces the specs of the late '63s, when the Les Paul logo on the headstock was dropped and the guitar was officially called an SG. The dignified cherry color achieved through the aniline dye finish and the clearly visible ducts elevate this model to an adult masterpiece with a vintage flair.

The SG Special is the king of rock 'n' roll! The SG Special captures the classic sound and design beloved by generations and genres alike. This late-'63-style SG Special recreates the sound heard on countless classic rock recordings!

While retaining the crispness of the P-90, one of Gibson's most popular single-coil pickups, the SG's thin body matches its bold tone to create a lighter, sharper sound than the LP Special, giving it a truly SG-esque resonance. The wraparound bar bridge directly transmits string vibrations to the body, creating a comfortable playing feel that's truly unique to the bar bridge. Rather than a hard-edged drive sound, I recommend playing it with a slightly lower gain setting for a more solid crunch or overdrive sound. A setting that takes advantage of the crispness of the sound will truly bring out the charm of the P-90. This guitar is perfect for simple rock 'n' roll sounds and feels great to play.

The SG model is by no means a very skillful guitar, but once you get into it, it's a lovable instrument that will become your lifelong friend!
The lightweight body will make you dance like a celestial being on stage, and the sound it produces is sharp and powerful, creating an emotional tone perfect for rock and blues.
The thin neck shape also creates a comfortable fingering rhythm, and demonstrates amazing playability, making it seem as if phrases will come out of nowhere!

This time, we have a recommended used item in stock! It was made in 2023.

There are some minor scratches, scratches from playing on the pickguard, paint scuffs, uneven paint finish near the bridge, and some tarnish on parts, but none of these affect playability and the guitar is in excellent condition! It has been fully maintained and cleaned at our shop, so it's a recommended guitar that's ready to play right away.

The frets on the neck were found to have some high fret spatter, so we lightly filed them down. The guitar is ready to play. Approximately 85% of its remaining life remains. The nut is also in good condition for use as is. The truss rod can be adjusted normally without any problems.

The electrical system has been fully checked and there are no problems with operation.

It weighs approximately 3.06 kg. It is lightweight and well-balanced for easy use.
This is a piece that stands out with its classic cherry color!

Accessories include the original hard case, key, certificate, and a pre-pack checklist with serial number and date.
