A typical specification from the 60s!
This popular '60s-style J-45 features non-scalloped bracing, recreating the style of the era. Vintage '60s Gibson acoustics are coveted for their distinctive look and sound, and this limited-edition "1960s J-45" perfectly recreates the round-shouldered feel of the guitar. It's available in a rare, popular '60s color, ebony black, with a matte, sophisticated VOS finish.
The two rings in the sound hole and the large, eye-catching adjustable bridge really recreate the atmosphere of the 60s, and the non-scalloped bracing gives it a 60s sound.The unique crispness and sound are reminiscent of the 60s, and it has a great tone character when you play it hard with heavy strokes.
The condition of the guitar is generally good, with dents, scratches, thinning paint due to aging, and a worn logo on the pickguard. The nut has been replaced and the bridge has been glued and set up at a repair workshop, so the guitar is in good condition and ready to play.
