In addition to the A/B switch for switching banks and patches, it also features a TAP/CTL switch that lets you freely assign your favorite functions. For example, you can set the tempo of a song, output a delay sound only while the footswitch is pressed, or use two delays simultaneously. This highly functional delay pedal is stress-free to operate.

MIDI control for perfect coordination
The MIDI input and output terminals allow you to control patch switching and parameter values from external MIDI devices. Perfect integration is achieved when used in conjunction with the BOSS ES-8 effects switching system (sold separately). The DD-500 also features a USB terminal, allowing you to connect to a computer via USB MIDI. It also features a "phrase loop" function.
