We have a used 2014 Taylor 816ce First Edition in stock!
This model features the Grand Symphony body, Taylor's second largest.
Compared to the Grand Auditorium shape used in classic models such as the 814ce, the body is slightly wider, resulting in rich bass and resonance.
This model was one of the first to feature the ES-2 pickup, which was released in 2014.
This pickup, which is also used in Taylor's current top-of-the-line models, features a revolutionary mechanism that combines feedback resistance with beautiful tone by applying pressure from the side of the saddle.
Regarding the condition of this instrument, there are some signs of use such as scratches on the exterior.
There are no noticeable scratches or dents, so it is in good condition considering its age.
Upon arrival, the nut has been replaced, the neck angle has been adjusted at an affiliated workshop, and the guitar is in a condition that you can use with confidence.
There was a small crack near the joint at the end of the body, but this was also repaired at an affiliated workshop.
The repair was so well done that the traces of the crack were no longer visible.
There is some twisting in the neck, causing the string height balance to fluctuate.
After adjustment, the measurements were approximately 2.4mm below the 6th string at the 12th fret and 2.2mm below the 1st string.
There is no buzzing or anything like that, and the string height is not extremely high, so you can use it without any problems when playing.
Once you play the Grand Symphony, you'll be hooked on its deep bass and taut volume!
