The PBR 8-500 features a fully balanced TT/Bantam patchbay, allowing for limitless creative routing possibilities—unusual for a 500 Series unit. Each slot has an input and output, plus two Mults. Mults provide one input and two outputs, allowing you to split the output of one module to two others. Perfect for parallel processing, the possibilities are endless. Easily audition your signal chain, reroute it, split it via one of the Mults, send it to another rack module, reroute it, and even output it—all from the front panel. And if you want to link two adjacent modules for stereo operation, it's just a button press away.
The PBR 8-500's design was heavily influenced by years of experience modifying audio hardware for low noise. Leveraging that expertise, the PBR 8-500 delivers consistent, reliable power unmatched by other 500 Series racks. The PBR 8-500 features per-channel power regulation to prevent noise and crosstalk from one module from affecting other modules. The PBR 8-500's power supply provides up to 400mA per slot, or 1.6A per unit. The PBR 8-500's power supplies are among the most reliable power racks in the 500 Series racks.
