We have a used Remo MasterTouch Piccolo snare drum from the 1980s in stock!
This is a rare REMO snare drum that has just arrived.
The shell material used is "Acousticon," a percussion instrument shell material developed by REMO.
It is a fiber-based material made by solidifying wood chips with resin.
It is still used in various REMO world percussion products today.
It has the fast and tight response you expect from a small diameter and shallow body, but also a wide range of sound for its size, providing a wide tuning range.
It produces a solid, dry, and extremely stable sound, which is characteristic of fiber shells.
From high-pitched, crisp, funky character to dead-tuned, digital sounds,
This snare drum can be used as both a main effect and a sub effect.
