Description

The incredible improvement in drumming techniques in recent years has made it possible to approach drumming in a more expressive way than ever before, by incorporating not only toms and floor toms but also cymbals and percussion instruments with unique sounds in a novel way. In this new trend, Starclassic aims to create a drum sound that has a strong presence to highlight such a wide range of sounds, while clearly separating the sounds so that the player's expression can be accurately conveyed to those around them.
To achieve this, we conducted extensive research exploring all possibilities, not being limited by existing shell materials. After countless trials and errors, we arrived at this hybrid shell, Walnut/Birch.
The Starclassic Walnut/Birch is a new Starclassic design that offers a new sound that meets the needs of the coming era.

Walnut/Birch Hybrid Shells
The hybrid shell combines the rounded warmth and rich, solid resonance of walnut in the mid-low range with the clear tonal image and solid attack of birch. This combination preserves the resonance of the shell alone while harmonizing the entire drum set, resulting in a focused sound that stands out in the band. It also provides controlled sustain, a clear tonal image, and, above all, a warm, pleasant tone to play. The interior of the shell is finished with a matte clear coating, which not only enhances the appearance but also provides a clear, cohesive sound.

Die-Cast Hoops
The highly rigid zinc die-cast hoop keeps the contact surface between the head and hoop perpendicular at all times, allowing for sensitive tuning even with critical tuning. Another major attraction is the powerful sound with a clear fundamental tone.

●MLS30A Strainer
This strainer features a lever that turns on and off horizontally, preventing the snare tension from loosening while playing and preventing the switch from being accidentally turned off.
In addition, both the strainer and the butt feature a sliding cover that secures the snappy cord/tape, an innovative system that eliminates the need to thread the cord/tape between the main body and the cover.

●Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snare Wire
The combination of excellent tracking with the snare head, exquisite grip, and crisp resonance delivers a light, crisp sound, while also achieving sensitivity and rich expressiveness that captures even the finest passages.
